I have the recently (finally) issued 3-D version of part 3, they did not do a great job so you didn’t miss much except it’s still great to see that eyeball fly at you. Get ready for part IV, I think that’s when Tom Savini did the effects, so there are some great kills (although I heard they got edited down on dvd). My personal favorites are parts VI and VII, they remind me of my childhood because I watched them so many times. 🙂
